Social Media Manager at Swap Language
From monitoring, moderating, and responding to the audience’s comments to generating, editing, publishing, and sharing different types of content through Facebook and Instagram, my 4-month internship at Swap Language was a creative endeavor. I was independently working on different ideas without any limitations. During this time, I realized how much I enjoy creating, planning, scheduling, and analyzing SoMe content.
Tools I used:
Canva.com
Unsplash.com
Medium.com
Photoshop; Lightroom; Premiere Pro
Later
Facebook & Instagram Analytics
Excel
Slack
Trello
This was the time where I could experiment with different ideas and follow up with analytics - the content performance. One of the most common (and my favorite) were engaging, informative, and educative picture posts:
-
Vocabulary (based on the language lessons), a great addition to SWL’s content strategy that is used after my internship ended;
-
Comparison with other languages – engage followers into conversation on how one word is written in different languages;

Focus on video content
Although I very much enjoy photography myself, the internship was a great opportunity to try my skill in videography. Video content on SoMe has grown not only in its popularity, it simply catches the audience's attention better, meaning it gets more exposure, +engagement. This is why I created:
-
Series "Can YOU pronounce these Danish words"?
-
Series "How do you say this in your language"?
